Dendroica petechia

This Yellow Warbler has been on my list of birds to paint for quite some time. The birds are showing up here in Michigan again and they have been on my mind lately. I've been wanting to paint a bird and today I had an excuse to try out a new style. I think it still needs some work, but I did enjoy it more than I thought I might.
